Beijing Greenhouse

The Beijing Botanical Garden Greenhouse project makes full use of the natural form of the site and potential solar energy resources to create an exhibition space with both functionality and experience.

In this project, the architects and engineers chose the flowing free curve as the expression method to optimize the architectural structure of the greenhouse to ensure that its form echoes the sun's altitude angle and makes full use of the sun. The precise form calculated by parametric design provides the smallest surface area and largest volume, as well as the best

Sun exposure in winter, the least in summer.
