The Western Summit of the 2019AAUA (Asian Cities and Architecture Alliance) International Academic Conference on Asian Cities and Architecture and the 2nd AAUA Western Cities and Architecture Annual Awards Ceremony was held on December 5th at the China Northwest Architecture Design and Research Institute. The "Park City · Pioneer Smart Action" academic seminar of the Garden and Landscape Design Branch of the China Survey and Design Association was successfully held in Shenzhen on November 28. The Oriental Garden Research Office of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology held the "Chinese Urban Waterfront Planning-Northern Song Dynasty Bianjing Urban Planning History Seminar" on October 24, 2019. The theme of this forum is "Chinese Urban Waterfront Planning". The relevant topics of the seminar include the history of urban water system construction and waterfront planning in China; examples of waterfront planning in ancient cities, and the construction of ancient Chinese urban gardens.
