The opening ceremony of the Yangzhou World Horticultural Expo 2021 at Zaolinwan in Yizheng, east China's Jiangsu Province happened on April 8, 2021. Yangzhou International Horticultural Exposition in 2021 is an international horticultural exposition approved by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), approved by the Leading Group of the National Clearing and Standardization Ceremony Seminar and Forum, co-sponsored by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, China Flower Association and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, and undertaken by the People's Government of Yangzhou City. This event is the first to be held in the Yangtze River Delta region. The expo, with the theme of "Green City, Healthy Life", will be held from April 8, 2021 to October 8, 2021 in Zhengyi Zaolinwan, Yangzhou, lasting 184 days. Mr.Chuan Wang, partner of Plasma Studio and PMA , was invited to attend the opening ceremony.

With the theme of "Green City, Healthy Life", the expo advocates green horticultural life, plans for green development, and looks forward to the vision of green sharing. With a total planning area of 230 hectares, the International Pavilion, China Pavilion, Opening and Closing Ceremony Pavilion, Yuanye Garden, and Biyun Village form a spatial structure of "one axis, two veins, five hearts, and eight areas". Designed by Professor Eva Castro, partner of Plasma Studio and PMA, the corner garden is part of the international museum - Master Garden.
