Urban and landscape as a carrier of each other in the process of social development, ongoing dialogue in different stages of development at the same time, the dialogue is also looking for the possibility of interaction between different level. Since Haitian Park acts as urban identity of Zhuhai city, and at the same time, for the urban landscape and landscape urbanization provides opportunity, and our mission, is also in full respect of field itself at the same time, to build cities and scenic spots of symbiotic relationship.

Mini-Landform has been created with gentle manner for public use in the landscape design of Haitian Park, plus such feature is going to respond with natural resources of Zhuhai city. The inner part of the park uses soft and hard spaces to enrich functions and changes in sight, while the seashore bank on north is open-wide mainly, connected with natural background. It is certain that the park provides with multi-activity space and function for public use. While besides that, in terms of the urban ecological system, it will show its dual value as well.

Our inspiration is extracted from the fundamental elements of the site. Located in the major entrance of Zhuhai, Haitian Park would be the primary choice of the urban “welcome hall” park. In the discussion of form finding, we did not go for the traditional orthodox geometry, on the other hand, as mentioned above, the information and data form the site is what makes this park interesting. So, our first choice is based on the potential circulation of pedestrians and so on, in order to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere, we use the polylines to reflex our thoughts on the environment. The second choice is made in a urban-level thinking, the vertical structure would be definitely helpful in prompting the urban images. Also, the colors of the site is something could not be ignored.
